The blade on the belly opener has a blunt tip which reduces the risk of puncturing the gut. To turn the blade, a button is pressed and the blade can be reversed. The other side is a knife for gralloching/skinning.
The 10cm long knife blade and the 8 cm long belly opener are made of one and the same solid piece of Sandvik 12c27 steel hardened to 58-59 Rockwell. This means that the knife gets strength and stability as a knife with fixed blades but has the flexibility and multi-functionality as a folding knife. In strength and longevity, it surpasses all folding options with a similar belly opener design.
The handle is made of rubberized Proflex for improved grip. A nylon case is included. Each knife goes through the strictest quality control and comes with a 10-year warranty.
