Deer Skinning & Butchery

 

Venison! Lean, nutritious and plentiful with an ever growing population of wild deer in the UK. Learning how to skin and butcher a carcass will give you the confidence to use one of the healthiest, sustainable and ethical meats and source it directly. Whether you want to make the most of the product of your successful hunt or just source venison ‘in the fur’ direct from the hunter, our venison butchery class will answer all your questions and give you the ‘know how’ to do this.

 

Hosted from our chiller trailer we can take our butchery sessions anywhere that private off road parking can be made available.

You will learn how to skin and break down a carcass into useable joints, cuts, dice and mince before vacuum packing for storage.

We can provide the deer carcass and you will keep the venison.

Cost starts at £350 inc. Vat for two participants.

Additional costs include the carcass by weight and our travel and subisistence.
