The Deer Stalking Certificate 1 (DSC1) is a foundation level course in deer stalking. On successful completion of the course and it’s assessments the candidate will have a good theoretical knowledge of all aspects of deer stalking including, the law, safety, ballistics, deer species and their biology and ecology, humane culling, carcass handling and hygiene. The candidate will also prove they can meet a set standard of marksmanship during the shooting assessment.

Our DSC1 Course includes the Large Game Meat Hygeine Qualification and ‘Trained Hunter / Trained Person’ status needed for signing carcass declarations and selling to Approved Game Handling Establishments.

The Course fee for this venue is £399 inc. vat and includes study material, pre course support, three days of teaching culminating in the assessments and certification.
