1. General Use & Care Instructions
Please follow these instructions to extend the serviceable life of your sling and to ensure safe use.
Use high quality sling swivels and check straps, buckles and swivels regularly.
Aside from personal preference the weight, length and balance of your setup may influence the stability and suitablity of one configuration over another. Experimenting with adjustment of strap lengths is advised.
Be muzzle aware at all times and adhere to best practice guidelines for safe firearm use.
Use silicone based dry lubricant to reduce friction noise between plastic clasps.
Cleaning
Do not submerge leather in water.
If sling becomes wet, dry slowly, away from direct heat.
Once dry, clean dirt from suede underside with a stiff brush.
Wipe leather upper clean with a damp cloth and once dry nourish with saddle leather cream.

2. Standard Set Up Instructions
Thread your chosen sling swivels onto the webbing straps. When threading through the polymer buckle we recommend doubling back through the buckle.
Before fitting to the rifle take the chest strap and create a noose with the leather loop and slide this over the butt of the rifle positioning it behind the pistol grip.
With the chest strap disconnected, shoulder the rifle then bring the chest strap around under your opposite arm accross your chest and connect it to the sling.
Once connected, lift the rifle butt with one hand and reduce the slack on the chest strap with the other hand. Don’t overtighten it.

3. Temporary Muzzle Down Carry
For a temporary switch to muzzle down when using the standard configuration.
Simply slide the pad onto the ‘pad less’ end of the sling strap enabling a temporary switch to muzzle down for short excursions through woodland cover where more controlled handling can be better managed for potentially time critical opportunities.
4. Rucksack Style Carry
For distibuting the weight over both shoulders.
Before fitting sling swivels to the sling, slide the spare swivel clip buckle provided with the Plus Pad onto the short strap end of the sling pointing towards the main sling with the clip pointing towards the main sling pad. Then fit sling swivels to both ends.
Configure the sling on the rifle for muzzle up carry but keep the main strap loose.
Slide the ‘Plus Pad’ onto the chest strap positioning it at the swivel clip end and slide the loop end over the butt positioning it behind the pistol grip.
Connect the chest strap swivel clip with the male clip you fitted above the main pad.
Shoulder the sling and put your arm through the chest strap so that the plus pad sits on your opposite shoulder.
Adjust the strap lengths until the weight sits equally on both shoulders.
This configuration should be worn loose and this will also enable you to slide your arm out of the sling quickly when needed.
