The HIKMICRO T16 4G Trail Camera is a smart, connected wildlife camera designed for reliable deer monitoring, wildlife observation and remote surveillance.
Capturing images at up to 24MP and Full HD 1080p video, the T16 combines a fast 0.4-second trigger, 25 metre detection range and discreet 940nm no-glow infrared illumination with 4G connectivity, allowing images and videos to be viewed remotely through the HIKMICRO Sight app.
A particularly useful feature for deer management is the selectable 60° or ultra-wide 100° field of view, allowing the same camera to be adapted to narrow woodland rides, deer trails, gateways, feeding areas or much wider field edges and clearings.
The HIKMICRO T16 is available with a choice of two interchangeable battery compartments:

Both versions use the same T16 camera; the only difference is the supplied battery compartment.
Unlike many trail cameras with a fixed viewing angle, the T16 allows you to choose between a conventional 60° field of view and an ultra-wide 100° field of view.
The 60° setting is ideal for monitoring defined areas such as:
The 100° ultra-wide view is better suited to larger areas including field edges, woodland clearings and feeding areas where activity may occur across a much broader part of the scene.
For deer managers moving cameras between different areas of an estate, this makes the T16 particularly versatile.
The HIKMICRO T16 connects to compatible 4G mobile networks, allowing captured images and videos to be transmitted remotely.
Using the HIKMICRO Sight App, you can monitor activity and manage the camera without continually returning to the installation site.
For deer stalking and management, reducing unnecessary visits can be particularly useful. It allows you to build a clearer picture of deer movement while minimising disturbance, human scent and pressure around the area being monitored.
The camera has an embedded SIM card. Mobile data services and associated data plans are managed separately through HIKMICRO.
Dual PIR sensors provide motion detection out to approximately 25 metres.
Combined with the fast 0.4-second trigger speed, the T16 is designed to respond quickly when wildlife enters the monitored area, reducing the chance of missing animals moving across the camera’s field of view.
The T16 captures photographs at resolutions of up to 24MP, providing detailed images for monitoring wildlife and assessing activity.
Video can be recorded at up to 1920 × 1080 Full HD, providing additional information on animal behaviour, direction of travel and group composition.
The camera uses 940nm no-glow infrared illumination for discreet night-time monitoring.
This allows the T16 to capture wildlife after dark without producing a conventional visible flash, helping minimise disturbance to deer and other wary animals.
Images are recorded in colour during daylight and black and white at night.
The T16 features 64GB of built-in internal storage, so there is no need to purchase or regularly manage a separate SD card.
Images and footage remain stored locally while compatible files can also be transmitted over the camera’s 4G connection.

For deer stalking and management, the HIKMICRO T16 offers a particularly useful combination of remote connectivity and adaptable coverage.
The ability to switch between 60° and 100° fields of view means the camera can be configured for anything from a narrow woodland ride to a broad feeding area, rather than forcing the user to compromise on camera positioning.
