Description
The traditional Hubertus roe call design made in durable acrylic.
The Hubertus Acrylic Roe Deer Call combines the adjustable design of the established Hubertus wooden call with a hard-wearing acrylic body.
Its enclosed reed produces the delicate contact sounds associated with roe deer, while the adjustment screw allows the user to raise or lower the pitch. This makes it possible to tailor the sound for different roe calls and field conditions.
The acrylic construction is resistant to moisture and changes in weather, making this a practical alternative to a traditional wooden call. Each acrylic body has a distinctive natural-looking mixture of pale and darker colouring, so the exact appearance may vary.
An integrated eyelet allows a carrying cord or lanyard to be attached.

Using the Call
Hold the call so that the mouthpiece remains exposed and place it lightly against the lips. A short, gentle breath produces the characteristic roe contact sound.
Use the tuning screw to make small changes to the pitch. Avoid setting the call unnecessarily high or calling too frequently.
Short sequences followed by a period of silence will usually provide a more natural presentation than continuous calling.
