Description
The Hubertus Wild Boar Call is designed to reproduce the grunts and social contact sounds made by wild boar. We have also found it to reproduce a good Fallow grunt.
Wild boar are highly social animals, and the call creates sounds intended to suggest that other animals are present and feeding or gathering nearby. It can be used while moving through an area or from a fixed observation or hunting position.
The call combines a wooden mouthpiece with an adjustable plastic tube. Changing the tube position and the way the call is voiced allows the user to produce higher and lower tones suitable for representing different animals.
An instructional CD is included to demonstrate the correct handling and operation of the call. Customers should note that the supplied instructional media may not contain English-language narration.

Using the Call
Blow through the wooden mouthpiece while shaping the sound with your voice and controlling the plastic tube.
Changing the tube length and partially covering the open end alters the pitch and resonance. Practise with the instructional material before relying on the call in the field.
Calls should be kept natural and intermittent rather than being repeated continuously.
